Cedar county authorities are1 seeking to return Ruth Kensinger Bancroft and her two minor children to their former home in the i state of Washington, according to I a petition filed in the district court here yesterday. Mrs. Bancroft was born and reared in this county, but, according to the petition, left with her husband, Paul H. Bancroft, in January of 1936, moving to Nebraska, then to Idaho and finally to Washington state. She and her husband were subsequently divorced and she returned to Iowa and Cedar coun- i ty in August of 1939. Action was taken by Cedar county relief officials after Mrs. Bancroft made !application for relief in Cedarcounty.
