Justice Clifford H.Sear I was informed yesterday. Theestranged couple and their attorneysappeared at the courthouse and inthe conference with Justice Sear!ensued, it was apparent the quarrel cannot be patched up.Gonsiewski, a widower, and Mrs.Gonsiewski, a widow, were marriedSept. 16. 1944, and parted on their first anniversary a year later. Mrs. Gonsiewski sued for a separation charging she had not been supported properly and asserting her husband remained in his store until late at night, never took her anywhere and objected because she retained membership in organizations in whichshe was interested.These included the auxiliary ofthe Polish Legion of American Veterans; a Mothers' club and the Rosary society. The trial of the separation suit was in progress April 23 when Justice Scarl con-Gonsiewski came home there was no room for him. The next day. hereturned with two witnesses, buthis wife said she could not oust herson-in-law's family so quickly.“I don’t believe Gonsiewski’s offer to return home was sincere as hehas failed to support his wiApril 23.” Edmund B.
