The wife of William Sutlierlin, the man convicted of killing Edward Fetters and hurrying him under a mule near Eagle lake, in Washington township, a year and a hal! ago, and who is now serving a sentence in the Michigan City penitentiary, recently applied for a divorce from him at Plymouth. He was brought to Plymouth to testify in the case a few days ago and claimed that his wife%/ ois not a fit person to have charge of their children. He doubtless thinks the}' were under good, moral influence when he had them in his care. Sutherliu wanted the children placed in the orphan's home, or with some responsib’e person willing to take care of them. Mrs. Sutherliu was granted a divorce and custody of the children, but the case is being taken to the supreme court by Martindale Stevens, Sutherlin’s attorneys.
