Axline before Judge Maxwell in court of common pleas Monday, adjournment w-as taken late in the afternoon until Tuesday morning. The plaintiff will likely rest her case before noon today..Thirty-one witnesses have been summoned by both, sides to testify in j the action, which has attracted much! attention by reason of the social prominence of the principals. The court room was crowded during the first day’s session.The plaintiff in her petition alleges cruelly* and the defendant is contesting the charge. Attorney Crossan of the legal firm of Meyer Crossan, represents the plaintiff. Attorneys Pugh and McElhiney appear for the defendant.
