Manning.John Gordon Brought Bac.Sunday afternoon Sheriff Dan Brownarrived from Valparaiso with John Gordon, long wanted here for wife de sertion. Gordon was found on a farm on a rural mail route five miles out from Valparaiso. He offered no resistance to the sheriff and has indicated that his only desire is to got back to his family and go to suppor t* ing them. He seems to realize thathe made a mistake in running away and to have no regret that he was captured and returned. He spent part of the time after he left Kokomo in Michigan. where he lived under the name of Louis M. Turner. Harvey Burk was once appointed agent to seek him out and return him. but failed to find him. Afterward, the police department got track of him in Michigan, and Officer Hait was detailed to get him. but Gordon had cleaied out before Hart could get to him.
