BROKEN EEG MENDS ROMANCECOVINGTON, July 3.—It required a broken leg to repair the damage to the romance of Thomas and Nell Bailey, whose domestic troubles have been in the Fountain court for some time.It is said that the marriage was asort of December-May affair, as thebride was many years the Junior of her husband. Anyway, the matrimonial bark went on the rocks and Thomas brought suit for divorce, which suit came to a stop, when the court informed the venerable hut* band that he must pay for an attorney for his wife, if he wished to press the case.While Thomas was debating whether or not paying two attorneyswas worth a divorce, he had the misfortune to fall and break his leg. His wife hearing of his misfortune promptly went home and nursed him through his trouble, and now they are living together in peace and harmony.
