Stevens, pastor of Park avenue Methodist Church, to .Miss Mabel Carolyn Church, a dramatic reader.Van Alstyne's former wife, Miss liouise Henry, daughter of George It Homy, of Winchester, is popular on the vaudeville stage. She secured a divorce here last Thursday, but court officials would not confirm it until yesterday. She eloped with Van Alstyne on July 21. 1904. from Chicago to Waukegan, Wls.. after being divorced from her manager, a Mr. King.Van Alstyne owns a tine farm in Page county. It contains an apple orchard, and it is said he bought it tor his now divorced wife soon after writing his song about the old apple tree.Van Alstyne was divorced before nis marriage to Miss Henry.
