Mildred E. MyersOSCEOLA MILLS - MildredE. “Millie” Myers, 79, of 515 Pruner St., Osceola Mills, died Wednesday, June 30,1993, at 2:45 p.m. in the Philipsburg Area Hospital.Born in Sandy Ridge on Nov. 7, 1913, she was the daughter of Edward and Jenny (Rafferty) Kearney.She was affiliated with the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Osceola Mills and was widowed by two husbands. Her first husband, Elmer A. Herr, died Sept. 24, 1981, and her second, Frank H, Myers, died Oct.22,1992.She is survived by these children: James Herr, Hyde; Elmer Herr, Philipsburg; Mrs. John (Alice) Demko, Houtzdale; Mrs, Kenneth (Carol) Baney,. West Decatur; Charles Herr, Philipsburg; Mrs. Larry (Linda) Swisher, Warrior’s Mark.She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great -grandchildren. Mrs. Myers is the last of her generation.She was also preceded in death by her parents, three daughters, one son and one brother.Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Heath Funeral Home of Osceola Mills, with the Rev. LaMarr Pirkle officiating. Interment will follow at the Umbria Cemetery of Osceola Mills.Friends will be received today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
