Shewas a member at Christ Church of the Ascension.Survived by her daughter-in-law; Margery M. Eastlick, Son; Harry V. Eastlick, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2:00 p.m At St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1550S. 14th Avenue. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, Phoenix, AZ.Mary Jane Blackman(a.k.a. “MJ”)Mary Jane was born September 1, 1922, in Rochester, N Y. She graduated from East High School and then went on to R.l. T, to graduate as a medical technician.She married Arthur E. Blackman prior to WWII. During the war yearsshe held the position of assistant to the Sr. Investigator for the Department of State. Albany N Y. After thewar she and her family moved to Miami, FL where they resided forseveral yearsYuma in 1962,While living in Yuma she went to work at the hospital, then called Parkview Baptist, where she remained for 22 years.After retirement she was very active under the umbrella of . WACOG’s RSVP program. She volunteered at the Yuma Food Bank, nursing homes, adult day care center, YRMC and Yuma's Convention and Visitor s Bureau. She was also an independent clown, a.k.a. “Lady Bug1’ volunteering at various events as well as YRMC's intensive care unit.She had two children, a daughter Terri, deceased, and a son, Keith who resides with his wife Linda in Yuma and Grandson Dustin Blackman of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Blackman.Chapel services will be for family and friends who she walked with in the path of life. Pastor Charles Stewart will be in charge of prayersand eulogy Memorial services will be on Friday the 2nd, 2001 at 11:00 am at Johnson Mortuary.In lieu of flowers please contribute to Hospice of Yuma.EASTLICKbefore coming toBLACKMAN
