The' lt;lecturer, w-ho handled her subject skillfully, it said to hail from Parkersburg. and the other woman, who stated ahe was the organiser for thewomen's organization in Mercer hcounty, is said to come from Charles-it ton. irThe lecture which was short and toifthe point dealt chiefly with the alms 1 and principles of the Ku Klux Klan * The men were flayed for their tend- ' ency to hold to party lines in poli !' tics but despite that there was a large group of men around tho lecturer at the close of tho meeting,while a long line of women waited for n chance to ask uesttons. jThere were about 300 people in tin s audience divided equally among mem and Women. There was much en-j thusiasrn manifested and the womenshowed unusual interest.Indications are a women's auxiliary to the Klan has been formed in the! county. •
