Eden CochranEden Cochran, 90, of Park Manor Convalescent Center died there Jan. 21,1994.The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial-DeWitt Funeral Home, 19 E. Birch St. The Rev. Otto Koltzenburg of Assumption Catholic Church will officiate. Private burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 2120 S. Second Ave. Family and friends may call at the funeral home until 8 tonight; from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday; and from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.Mrs. Cochran was born Jan. 5, 1904, in Bentonville, Ark., to Arthur and Lucy Helena Blevins. At an early age, she moved to Montana with her family. She grew up and attended schools in Montana. She married Elmer Blevins on Aug. 17, 1927, in Wolf Point, Mont.; they were divorced on Dec. 19,1946.She moved to Walla Walla in 1947 and was employed by St. Mary Medical Center as a housekeeper. Mrs. Cochran was a member of Assumption Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time in Arizona.Mrs. Cochran is survived by two granddaughters, Terri Wedepohl of Chandler, Ariz., and Raedine Yerkes of Pasco; a grandson, Vance Cochran of Walla Walla; and special friends Rusty Volgardsen of Spokane and Myrtle Ritter of Walla Walla.
