There are three grandchildren.In this City Mr, Hellebush entered into the jewelry business in 'the sixties with Mr. Theodore Oskamp, after teaching, and clerking with Storck Co., and J. L. Le Bou-tillier, who soon branched out, left his business to his brother, Clemens Oskamp, with whom deceased got an interest. In 1866 he started Into the wholesale business for himself at Pearl and Main, and in 1878 moved to the present large establishment.The career of Mr. Hellebush in this city has been characterized by a marked interest in the welfare of the city and a solicitude for the needy that won him many kind words and expressions of gratitude from the poor and distressed, to whose aid he ever lent a willing hand.
