Fannie Johnson, through Alexander Dowling, Esq., her attorney, has filed her complaint in the circuit court for divorce from William Johnson, to whom she was married in 1880. She alleges that he has treated her in a very cruel and inhuman manner, often assaulting and beating her, and utterly failing to provide for her support and that of the two children by the marriage; and that, on the 10th day of August, 1884, he abandoned her. She therefore prays for a divorce, the custody of her two chiK dren and for alimony. Johnson is now a resident of Harrison county.
