John Charles Castleberry, 52, 7612 Dent Crest Drive, Dallas, Tex., died in the Baylor Hospital, Dallas, at 6:55 p.m. Tnursday.Born in Hardin, Ky., he was a son of the Reverend V.B. and Pochahuntas Treveathan Castleberry. He was educated in the Richmond, Ky. public schools.He marred Jeannette Maddox in 1956.He was vice-president of the Greater Commonwealth of Texas Insurance Company of Dallas.He was a member of the Richardson Heights Baptist Church in Dallas.Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Castleberry, Dallas; parents, the Rev. and Mrs. V. B. Castleberry, Hamilton; three daughters. Mrs. Jamie Phillips, Germany, Mrs. Linn Billings, Georgia, and Mrs. Carol Linn White, Maryland; a son, David Castleberry, Dallas; two brothers, William Castleberry, Hamilton, and David Castleberry, Cedar Rapids. Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Young, Hamilton; and three grandchildren.Private services will be held at the convenience of the family Monday.Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.Arrangements by the Webb Funeral Home.
