Kate Hand Beta forth in her conplaint tiled in the circuit court Saturday evening that, under a promise of marriage, Norman Hand accomplished her ruin, but finally married her on Dec. 15,188S. On Jan. 3, ISS'.t, however, be abandoned her. He was the owner of a number of of 1o‘b in Galena and $200 worth of personal property before the marriage. She charges that with the purpose of defrauding her of support and in collusion with his mother, Elizabeth Creek, for such purpose, be trans* ferred his property to Mrs. Creek without receiving any valuable consideration therefor. She sueB for an allowance of $5 per werk, her interests in the property and makes Mrs. Creek a party to the suit. Jewett Jewett are herattorneye.
