Divorces were granted to CortlandElwell from Jennie M. Elwell, cause, adultery; Flora May Parker from Calvin Parker; Myrtle Guertin from Frank Guertin, both for desertion and refusal to support. The jury was discharged from further duty Wednesday afternoon and received their pay.There was an adjournment from Wednesday evening until Friday. Upon the re-assembling of the court, the case Town of Pownal vs Arthur Merchant was called. Merchant was for several years collector of taxes and the suit is the outcome of some disagreement over the amount collected. The case was continued and Saturday morning court adjourned.
