Co-hostess was Mrs. Muriel Cowan Moore of Arcadia who road the royal float in 1935.Having a tete-a-tete about thedifferences of a half-century be tween their rules as Rose Queens were Mrs. Hallie Woods McConnell of Pasadena who was queen in 1905, and Marion Brown, Temple City, this year’s queeri.Bringing picture of the Rose Parade she ruled in 1906 was Mrs. Elsie Prizer of Fullerton.Mrs Coumbe, who has been in contact with 25 former Rose Queens from as far as New York and Chicago, says the group is going to have another meeting next year, and hopes all may be able to attend.Other queens wno attended Saturday’s party are: Mrs. Holly N. Balthas, Glendale, 1930; Mrs. Mary Lu Thompson, Van Nuys, 1931; Mrs. Margaret H. Main, Pasadena, 1940; Mrs. Patricia Auman Miller of Riverside, 1946, and Mrs. Virginia Goodhue Bo-lander; Pasadena, 1948.☆ ☆GIRL SCOUT COUNCILS TRAINING CONFERENCEThe Girl Scout Councils of Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank will hold a Tri-Council Training Conference on February 27 from 9:30 a,m.-3:00 p.m. at St, James Episcopal Church in South Pasadena.The purpose of the Conference is to exchange ideas and to promote greater interest in Girl Scouting. Council members, neighborhood chairman and council committee members are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 50 cents.
