IN MEMORIAM.(Contributed).Alta N., daughter of George and Odessa Neiswender, died at St. Joseph’s hospital February 17, from peritonitis, after an illness of but a few short hours. She leaves her parents, four brothers, Leroy, Norton, Charles anlt;J VSTiltyaiii, and one sister, l^orothy. The funeral services were held at the Evangelical church at Plainfield, Rev. Mr. Dickens officiating. Burial in the Plainfield cemetery. The pall bearers were her three eldest brothers and three cousins, Leonard Spangler, Wm. Scott and Joseph Neiswender. The floral* tributes were numerous and beautiful. She lived all of her short life in Joliet, attending the Sheridan school since old enough to enter.Alta was a sweet, lovable girl, Her teachers, girl friends and family all loted her, and are bowed down with grief that she was so early called from them. In her home she was quiet and cheerful; she was fond of music, and had learned to cheer and please her loved ones by the sweet strains she called forth from her cornet. But she has only gone where her music will be sweeter—her life more complete in Him, the “Elder Brother,” Christ loved her and took her to himself because her work here was finished—because there were greater heights and easier paths for her feet there. So sudden we say, but, oh, the pain and suffering she is saved. Now it is all Joy, all love, all music for her; she loved the beautiful here, she has aone but the beautiful there .
