Olcla Brannen Wants Divorce From Jeff Brannen and Custody of Child.Okla Brannen, by lier attorneys,•Buff Stratton, lias filed suit for divorce from Jeff Brannen, to whom slie was married at Marshall, 111., on the Fourth of July, 1903, and from whom she separated in December, 1904.The plaintiff charges the. defendant with desertion, claiming that in December, 1904, while the plaintiff was ill, he took her to her father’s home in Fairbanks township and left her there. She further charges that during their married life the defendant totally ignored the marital vows and obligations; that he has failed to provide clothing and the necessities of life; that he has been in the habit of drinking intoxicants to excess and would often associate with disreputable women; that instead of living with his wife and providing for her as a dutiful husband should, he left her for her father to keep and sustain; that as the fruits of said mar- j riage one child was - born—Gladys Brannen, who is now IS months of age; that the plaintiff is a fit person i to have custody' of the said Gladys!
