She statos in her petition that, they were married In 1878 and lived as husband and wifo till _ January 28th of this year, when Anderson drove her from the house, that she fears for her life and tli© life of the minor children. She says that Anderson is possessed of 234* acres of fine Oass county land and a large amount of personal property.The troubles of the Andersons have been aired before. Anderson about two weeks ago tried to have a warrant -issued lor the arrest of liis wife on the charge of attempting to poison him. He alleged that she had placed something in his oofl^e and that lie believed it to be poison. After sifting the matter thoroughly. Attorney Goodspeed arrived' at the conclusion that there was not sufficient evidence, to warrant the action and the matter waB dropped. Anderson then employed Mr. Goodspeed to make a lefctle-ment witn the wife but just as the settlement was about to be con Bum ' ated he refused to go farther with the case and also refused to pay his attorney fee, which he has sinco coiloctod by a civil suit.The Andorions are old residonts cf the northern part of. the county and are regarded as respectable Danish people.
