The Frankfort Times of Thursday says: “The Heaton divorce case or conditions growing out of it claimed tne attention of the court officials again yesterday. In the decree which Judge Kent made when he decided the case, tLe custody of the large family of children was given to Mrs. Heaton. In abiding by this order of the court, Mrs. Heaton took the children to the home of her brother, Simon Loveless. In some way Mr. Heaton succeeded in winning two of the children, girls of ten and twelve years, from their mother and they went to live with their father. The mother went to get them but they would not go and Mr. Heaton refused to permit them to be taken by force. Mrs. Heaton then appealed to the tfourt and Judge Kent ordered the sheriff to see that the decree of the c'Miit was carried out. Deputy Sheriff Milner went to Colfax yesterday and drove to Mr. Heaton’s home. One of the children was found in the house and Mr. Heaton seid she was so sick that she could not be moved. The officer, however, had learned from the physician that she could be moved with safety and took charge of her. The other girl could not be found and Mr. Heaton Bid she had left the place. After a careful search the deputy sheriff struck trail in the snow and followed it to a hoe house where she had concealed herself. It took several minutes of the officer's best eloquence to win tha child’s good will, but he finally succeeded and took both of them to their mother. It is said that the feeling in the case is growing rapidly in bitterness and there is a probability of one or more additional casesl«inr* ”
