IGNORE LAWYERS AND AGREE UPON ALIMONY TERMSA court heaving on a claim for temporary alimony filed by the plaintiff in the case of Pearl Carmichael vs. lClmer Carmichael ended abruptly in Judge William The-ophiius’s coifrt today when the discovery was made that the couple had ignored their attorneys* and agreed upon a division ot the family income. When tins fact was admitted by the parties the court ordered the hearing continued.According t.o the bloiy told lht*| court the luisbund and wdc agreed upon the question of temporary alimony following a conference held in the office of A. G. Busli. attorney for Mrs. Carmichael, late Sa tin day. They did not tell their attorneys of the agreement until the matter was brought out in open court.Mis. Carmichael originally brought suit for separate maintenance. After filing this suit she returned; 10 live with her husband. They quarreled. she says. She then | amended her petition by asking for an absolute divorce and lempoiary alimony from the proceeds ot a monthly allowance received by Carmichael from the government..John McSwjggin appeared fod Carmichael.
