John Patterson this afternoon filed suit for divorce from Luvina Patterson, alleging abandonment and crueltreatment.Licensed to wed—Richard Campbell, Clark county, Ind., to Nattie May Brewer, Carrollton, Ky. They were married this afternoon by Squire Chapman.Mr. George Edward Keller, who lives on the Hanover road,was in the city today and subscribed for the Daily Herald. During the recent high water Mr. Keller lost about100 bushels of corn and other articles.That the goods of Madison merchants have a world*wide reputation for excellence is shown by a letter received by Mr. R. L. Ireland fromSchowfu, Shantung, China, containing a nice order for some of his best shirts.An suit for divorce was today filed in court through Attorney Emerson Lemen for Mr. John Patterson, a farmer of Madison township The complaint states abandonment by defendant, Luvina Patterson, as the cause for action.
