Betz in Gallia County Common Pleas Court this week.Dewey Paul Lambert, indicted by the January Grand Jury for driving while intoxicated, changed his previous plea of not guilty to guilty and was sentenced by the court. He was lined $50 and costs, sentenced to five days in the county jail, and had his operator’s license revoked for six months.Cecil White, arraigned on a charge of nonsupport, was placed on five-year* probation. Raymond Myers, for the same offense, was put on three year’s probation with two additional stipulations,: that he post a $500 bond and that he pay $30 a week for the support of his children.Four plaintiffs were grantedidivorces in the court.James E. Whitt gained a divorce from Martha Auxier Whitt, and Henry Taylor was divorced from Ruby Casto Taylor, with the latter being restored her maiden name of Casto.In getting her divorce from James E. Woomer, Barbara Ann Woomer, also got custody of their child. Carl Thomas Beckett was divorced from Lenora L. Beckett, and she was given legal use of her maiden name, Leach.In all four divorce cases, grounds were gross neglect of duty and extreme cruelty.
