LEGION COMMANDER — Eliot Thomas, Glen wood attorney, has been named commander of Harvey T. Rime! post of American Legion, succeeding Ross Garrett, who resigned. Garrett will become first sergeant of the new Company I in Glen wood. Thomas is a former Oakland attorney and assistant Pottawattamie county attorney. He was an army captain.
