SECURED A DIVORCE.Elbert Arnett Secures Separationfrom His Wife.Elbert Arnett, wlio was arrested at Logan sport and taken, to Chicago, on a charge of wife desertion, a heavy demand of alimony staring him in the face as well as a year or two in the penitentiary, unless he paid money demanded, which he did to the amount of $000—Chicago’s idea of justice—has secured a divorce and a riddance from his wife, a much coveted result. Freeman Cooper, his attorney, received word to this effect this morning. !Mr. Arnett is now sick at Logansport, but rapidly recovering, and expects to come to Kokomo in a few days to recuperate, when lie will assume the duties of the position to which lie has just been appointed, that of mail clerk with a . run from Logansport to Bradford Junction.—Kokomo Dispatch.
