OBITUARYForest A. Melton Is Blood Poison VictimFuneral services for Forest A. Melton, 22 years old. of Margaret street. Dunbar, who died Sunday at aCharleston hospital, were being arranged Monday. His body is at theNoble Long mortuary, whence it willbe takeu at H o'clock Monday evening to the home.He died, mortuary attendants reported, of blood poisoning—he cut a small pimple of his face several weeks ago when he was shaving and it became infected.For a while last summer, during the vacation period, Melton worked at the county jail.For a short time, he also was chief of police of Dunbar. His appointment by Mayor M. M. Maloney was not confirmed by the Dunbar council.He was active in Dunbar politics and also was leader of the Melton string band.Surviving are his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Melton, of Dunbar; three brothers. Lawrence A. Melton. of Charleston; Stanley E. Melton, of Belle, and Delbert W. Melton, of Dunbar; and a sister, Miss Cleo Melton, of Dunbar.
