Pouring a quantity into a graduate they made their tests by use of chemicals and declared the brew stronger than the law allowed.. Porter Locks Self In Then they directed Huletz to conduct them to the basement where they made a thorough search of the premises but failed to find any evidence of a brew plant. In another room, however, they detected a noise and going to that point found the door of a private room locked. They broke it open and are said to have discovered a quantity of liquor stored in bottles and the porter of the place who had locked himself in.The bottles of liquor were de-ut.roved and their contents poured • out,‘over the violent protests of the porter. Further search did not disclose apparatus for manufacture of either liquor or beer and Mr. Huletz and his man were taken to Green Bay at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon and arraigned on a charge of possession of and dispensing intoxicants.Who Is the Porter?An examination was conducted there before Commissioner Water-tnolen. A feature of the interrogation of the porter showed that individual to be loquatious as the following colloquy will show:.
