Sues Woman for $10,000.Alexandria.—Ten thousand dollars is the demand Mrs. Cora Lawson, wife of Marshall Lawson, a farm-er, makes in a suit filed in the Madison superior court against her former neighbor, Mrs. Cora Edwards. Mrs. Edwards is the wife of Evan Edwards, an Alexandria school teacher, and a daughter of Thomas Baxter, a wealthy pioneer of Madison county. Mrs. Lawson charges Mrs. Edwards with the alienation of lier husband’s affections. Mr. Lawson and Mrs. Edwards simultaneously disappeared several months ago, and it is alleged in the complaint that they ran away together and are now living at Pensacola, Fla. Mrs. Edwards left her husband and two sons, seven and fourteen years of age. Mrs. Lawson has also filed suit for a divorce.
