The announcement of a suit for divorce. brought by Mary Daniels against her husband, M. D. Daniels, both par- jties being residents of Palo Alto for eighteen yearsfcauses a ripple of excitement in the community. No general statement of the cause of action is made in the original notice as published, and the public are still in the dark as to the real cause of the unlocked for step. Mr. Daniels left homo about three weeks ago and is believed now to be in Missouri.
