BAILEY NEWSNavy Doctor Opens Office In BaileyDr. and Mrs. J. T. Wright have mo^ed to Bailey where Dr. Wright will practice medicine. Temporarily he will have for his office the space in the rear of Ethridge Drug Store, formerly used by Dr. Daniels.Since Mrs. Wright is a registered nurse, she will assist her husband in the office. They have an^apartment in the home of Mrs.IIW. Prlvette.Dr. and Mrs. Wright come from istern North Carolina.On Sunday evening. Decomber 194 6, the Methodist Choir will resent a Christmas contata atthe Methodist Church.In addition to the contata theprogram will include Christmascarols. H. Farmer.Bailey Methodist Missionary Circle No. 2, met with Mrs. Ed Cozart, Thursday evening, December 5th. It was a very successful meeting with fifteen members present. It wras decided to have some charity project for Christmas.Mrs. Belle Batts entertained herIbridge club Wednesday evening,December 4th at her home. Thoseplaying were Mesdames Clay-born Glover, Melvin Horner, Elkins, Christian, Ed Cozart, I. N. Glover, and Miss Edith Farmer.Mrs. Annie Patterson of Bailey died Wednesday, December 4th in a Wilson hospital.Funeral services were held Friday at 3 o’clock in Bailey Methodist Church by the Rev. D. T. Poole. Interment wras in Bailey cemetery.The friends and relatives are glad to have Mrs. James M. Murray home after two week’s stay in a Wilson hospital.BREAKFASTMrs. W. A. (Jack) Stallings entertained at breakfast at her home, Sunday morning in honor of Miss Rebekah Fulghum, bri le-elect. Tables were centered with vases of wThite carnations and a delicious meal wras served. Those present included Mrs. SanfordKirby, Miss Hazel Kirby, MissElgia Scott, Mrs. Ernest Y. Wilkinson, Miss Ida Elizabeth Lewis, Miss Mildred Darden, Miss Vivian Bass, Mrs. L. R. Herman, Jr. and Miss Grey Fulghum. Thehostess presented the honoreewith silver in her chosen pattern.Mrs. Stallings wras assisted in serving by Miss Lewis and Miss Darden.Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Woodard entertained at the Zam Zam near Wilson on Sunday evening honoring Miss Rebekah Fnleum of
