Whitney, wife of Dr. Whitney, dentist, re idin j in this citv has for some time had a yearning for that prominence and pleasure which comes only to footlUht favorites. She is an accomplished musician and vocalist, and has often been urged by admiring acquaintances to honor the professional stage and ‘elevate” the profession. 'Nothing loath, Mrs. Whitney set a out forming the necessary connection.
