WOMAN SUINGFOR CAR SALEnt.tiTsClyde McDowell Made Defendant In Action On TrialThe suit of Anna Pipa versus Clyde McDowell, Town district constable to recover $320 the value of an automobile levied on and! sold by the officer, was on trial in circuit court before Judge C. M. Ward and a jury yesterday afternoon when court adjourned.The plaintiff in the action is suing to recover on the car which she alleges was improperly levied as part of the property of Tony Marino and C. Polock, a business firm. The latter is a brother of the plaintiff, while the other member of the Marino, is her brother-in-law. Mrs. Pipa contends she permitted her relatives to use the car in their business but the title was in her name. The trial will be resumed this morning.Judge Ward directed a verdict for the defendant in the suit of C. G. Wauhop vs. Lacy Carter. Wau-hop sought to recover $250 for damage done to his truck, the result of a collision with a truck belonging to Carter near Harper last May.Judge Ward handed down decrees of divorce in the suits of Ellouise Gartin vs. Clayton D. Garten, and Mary Zukowski vs. Katso Zukowski.
