Spectacular Accident; No InjuriesA spectacular accident early last night involving two cars, a truck, mailbox, cement block fence and wire fence resulted in no injuries but caused considerable property damage.Fairborn police were called to 1712 Superior ave. shortly after 7 p.m. and found a car driven by Robert M. Williams, 18, of 1712 Montgomery ave., had crossed over the center line and sideswiped a northbound auto driven by Ora R. Wilson, 26, of 1830 Superior ave.Williams lost control of his car and it hit a mailbox and cement block wall on property owned by Charles Hobbs, 1731 Superior ave., then struck a truck parked in the driveway of Robert L. Fitch, 1739 Superior ave., pushing it into a wire fence.Williams’ car was listed as a total loss, the other two vehicles sustained considerable damage, and both fences and the mailbox were severely damaged. Williams was cited for improper operation.In the only other accident investigated last night Donald W. Rowles, 21, Wright-Patterson AFB, was ticketed for failure to control when he crossed the center line on N. Broad st. and struck another auto operated by Martin E. Likovetz, 18, Dayton.
