Eight Divorces Are Granted YesterdayJudge Harry E Wheat granted four divorce decrees in circuit court yestetday afternoon making a total of eight decrees entered during the day. Cruelty was charged In the action of Wilma Carroll Vs Gene Carroll. Thd couple was married Nov. 8. 10-12. The petitioner was given the right to resume her maiden name nf Wilma Diehl. The plaintiff was represented by Attorney H. R. Nettles.In the case of Kenneth Hille vs Nina Hiile desertion was charged. The couple was married Aug. 27, 1935. and it was alleged the wife deserted May 9. 1943. The husband was given custody of a minor child.Rose Bra man was granted a divorce from Harold Bra man on grounds of desertion. They were married Mar. 4. 1924, and it was charged the defendant deserted Oct. 30, 1938. The bill was filed by Attorney E. J. Sullivan.Alleging cruelty Maggie Bons was granted a divorce from Henry Bons. Attorney Nettles represented the plaintiff.A petition for divorce has been filed by Attorney William S. Wilson in behalf of Bernice Strong and against Oid,y Strong. Cruelty is alleged. Tire couple was married Aug. '26, 1935. An injunction was issued to restrain, the defendant from disposing of personal property.
