Cox, sou of the late ex-Judge Joseph Cox, was the defendant In a hotly contested divorce fight which was begun Monday before Judge Davis in Cincinnati.His wife, who is the daughter of Mrs. Josephine Bates, of Mt. Airy, makes general charges of neglect andnonsupport against him. ne wasformerly the head of the big Fourth street book firm of S. C. Cox Co., Cincinnati, his partner being CharlesBragg.While fortune smiled on him Cox’t*wealth was estimated at over $100,000i but he met with heavy financial reverses during the business panic of1893 and is now employed at the Sabln Bobbins Paper company in Middle town.
