DEATH%FERGUSON - Passed away in the city on Friday, April 22nd; 1977, following a lengthy illness, Mr. Thomas Lennie Ferguson at the age of 73 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Joan Ferguson of 2210 8th Ave. “A” S. Born in Scotland the late Mr. Ferguson came to Southern Alberta atan early age and received his education here. He worked here for many years for the CPH, and in 1946 became employed by the City of Lethbridge. He retired as City Manager in 1970. He was a member of the Past Kinsman and K40 Club, a City Alderman for one term, a member of the Rotary Club, Honorary Member of the Japanese Garden Society, member of the Alberta Historical Society, the Alberta Lung Association, and the Masonic Lodge. He resided in Lethbridge until his passing. Besides his loving wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Domier of Stirling; two granddaughters. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 25th, 1977, at St. Augustine's Angliean Church with Rev. Frank Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
