Mattoon, Mr. Miller,accompanied by John I*1. Schwerin, came to Sheboygan for the purpose of taking charge of tbe former A. J. King pia.no works, located on b., Water street, in the building now occupied by the Lincoln Pl}-'vooc* company. Mr. Mattoon had ^ the building erected and took a lhely interest in tne success of the piano factory, therefore, he took pains m locating a capable man to superintend tbo manufacturing of the instruments. Three years later A. J. King moved to IUuffton, Illinois, and Mr. MUicr took full charge of i the factory.
