Charlie Tilghman asks divorce of wife of 21 yearsSphinx Club owner Charlie Tilghman filed a suit for divorce from Mrs. Madeline Hudgins Tilghirtan, bookkeeper at the /FRO-AMERI* CAN, this week.The Tilghmans. married in 1938, 3re parents of 14 and 16-year-old sons.Mr. Tilghman, who heads the club located at 2107 Pennsylvania Avc., says that he and Mrs. Tilghman ^ voluntarily separated Dec. 1, 1946.The petition, filed in Circuit Court No. 2, by Robert Watts, attorney, docs not mention custody of the children.
