cruelty. Anna E. Taft obtained a divorce from Herbert R. Taft for desertion, retaining the custody of the child. Lawyer Charles Phelps asked the judge to appoint n grievance committee, the last one having been appointed seven years ago. The following were appointed : State’s Attorney Reed, Charles Phelps and J. E. Fisk. There will be a short calendar session In Rockville to-morrow at 10 o’clock.
