Former Store Owner, 66, DiesSamuel Jerry Alexander* wellknown resident of this city for thelast 21 years, died at 8p. m. Tuesday at the family residence. 1230 Depot-si, after an illness of two days. He was aged 66 years, five months and 26 days.He was a member of the Geod Samaritan Aid Society and ProgressI*odge, No. 85, Masons. Ho was a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Alexander was a former grocery man. here.Surviving are his widow, two son* Alfred M- Alexander, local mail carrier, and Prince A. Alexander* athome; three daughters, Mrs- SpencerDupcron, Detroit, Midi., Mrs. Eugene Nash, Cincinnati, and Miss Temperance Alexander, Monroe, Mich.; six grandchildren; two bisters-in-law, Mrs- Cecelia Alexander and Mrs. Louise E. Johnson, both of this city; and many other relatives and friends.The body has been removed to the Krey Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p. m. today and where funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday with the Ttev. A. J. officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Oakland Cemetery.
