James Rawlings, 68, 55 Brookwood Ave., Apt. 9, died at 8:15 a. m. Friday in Fort Hamilton - Hughes Hospital, He had been six months.He was born in Clay County, Kv., a son of W. S. and Ebbie ClarkstonRawlings, and received his education in Clay County public schools.In 1963 he retired after 39years with Champion International as a calendar room employee.Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Francies MooreRawlings: two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Geraldine) Burress, and Mrs. William (June) Jones, both of Hamilton; one son, Russell Rawlings, Hamilton; three brothers. Alex Rawlings, Hamilton and Carlo Rawlings and Edward Rawlings, both of Clay County, Ky.; three sisters,Mrs. Gertrude Pennington, Burning Springs, Ky., Mrs. Mamie Ponder, Clay County, Ky., and Mrs. Ida Lewis, Jackson County, Ky.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the Webb Funeral Home, Ross Ave. and S D St. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation 4 to 6 p. m. Sunday.
