Seeks to Bar Permit For White Stage To Operate in S. A,For the second time in several years O. R. Fuller, proprietor of the White Stage Line, is making a determined endeavor to secure authorization from the State Railroad Commission to tako on and discharge passengers in Santa Ana, and for the second time. Fuller is not having plain sailing in connection with securing the permit.Monday, in I/os Angeles, there will be a hearing before the commission on Fuller's application for a permit to operate his busses in Santa Ana. At the hearing will be Attorney Clyde Bishop, of Santa Ana, who was at work today completing papers setting up a contest to Fuller’s application.It is understood that Rishop is w’orking in the interest of A. R Watson, proprietor of the Crowm Stage Line, and also the Valley Stage Line, the latter recently purchased by him.The grounds Attorney Bishop will set up are, it is understood, that in his opinion the stage traffic in Santa Ana already is well handled, and there is no public need or demand for additional lines to take on and discharge passengers here.Two or three years ago Fuller’s application to the Railroad Commission for similar authorization was successfully blocked by opposing interests.
