Grubbs was described as being of slender build and of dark complexion, the car, a 1927 model, owned by Black, was driven most of the time by Grubbs.Mrs. Moon told officials her son-ifi-law and his friend had supper at her home in the evening, and then left, after the ewening meals.*Mrs. Moon v'as not acquainted with Grubbs.,The watch shot off Black’s wrist and found at the spot where the constable reported the hold-up was attempted, was identified Wednesday by Black’s widow as belonging to her late husband, Sheriff Baughn and Detective Jannings revealed.Black, who was born in Kentucky, lived at one time at Princeton, Ind., and it was there that authorities believe he met Grubbs, whose parents, divorced and then .remarried, live in that city.
