When Trying to Flag Motorman at the Beck Crossing Last Evening.William Buzzard, aged about 55 years-, and a Dunkard minister residing four miles south of New Paris, was hit by a north bound interurban ear at Beck’s’ crossing at 6 o”clock last evening when he was trying to flag the motorman to get aboard the car and ride to New Paris.It is claimed that at the time of the accident the car was running at full speed. Whether the motorman saw Mr. Buzzard or not, could not be learned. Rev. Buzzard s-tarted to get out of the way of the car after he was convinced that it was not going to stop and was just near enough that it caught his right arm, which was broken and badly bruised and lacerated. The first finger of his left hand was also broken.The injured man was placed aboard the car and taken to Dr. Christophers office at New Paris, where he was given medical attention.
