SEIZED MUCH LIQUOR OVER MANITOBA BORDER IN LAST THREE MONTHSWinnipeg, Sept. 29.—Liquor with avaluation of $180,000 has been prevented from reaching its intended destination in the United States, during the last three months through the operations of the border police stationed along the Manitoba boundary in Minnesota and North Dakota, according to members of the force who were in Winnipeg today.They stated that fifty rum-runners had been taken into custody together with nearly that number of cars. The liquor, it is alleged, came from thedirection of Winnipeg. Those arrest-) ed will be arraigned before the federal grand jury when that body meets in Fargo, N.D.
