She asked Fillmore police to send a squad to her apartment to wait for Zoch with whom she had a date.Officers James Tealian and Hubert Maslihurn waited III the apartment. Zoch finally called Wanda to say lie was parked in his car across the street from her apartment. Teahan and Mashburn approached the car, but when Zoch I saw them he tried to run down Teahan. who fired a shot at Zoch's car as he drove off.Teahan and Mashburn. of course, were looking for Zoch since then. Saturday Miss Podgorski called them and said she arranged another dte with Zoch for 9 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. they saw her enter Zoch's car at Laramie and Madison and drive north.Al Laramie and Maypole he suspected the police wore following him and he stepped on the gas and drove down alleys. After a chase of several blocks he pulled to the curb in front of 221 N. Lockwood and fled on foot. Lockwood. suffered the consequences of the escapade Saturday.
