GOVERNOR REAFFIRMS HIS [ATTITUDE TOWARD KLANINDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Sept. Governor McCray, in response to ani inquiry from a New York newspaper* in regard to his attitude toward the Ku Klux Klan, sent a telegram to the paper today in which he said he would do all in his power unde r the law “t«* curtail the activities of the organization in Indiana.” The Gov. rnor denounced the Ku Klux Klan some weeks ago in a statement.The Governor’s telegram follows:“I am very much opposed to the secret order known as the Ku KInx K!ai I am opposed to the spirit of that kind of an organized body and willt; do all I can under the lav-' to curtail ils activities in the state of Indiana.
