M Stubblebme, psychiatrist, testified today that he believes Glover was legally sane when he stabbed another inmate with a sharp brass rod last Feb 5,Dr. Joseph Gutstadt of San Rafael testified yesterday that Glover was probably not psychotic on Feb 5. However, the psychiatrist said Glover may not have been completely aware of what he was doingTwo more psychiatrists were expected to testify this afternoon in the cour* of Judge Thomas F KeaMng They are Dr. Gerald Hill of San Rafael, and Dr. R. C. Murphy, s*aff psychiatrist at San Quentin.The case is expected to go to the jury’ tomorrow afternoon.If Glover is found sane, the same jury will then decide on the penalty: death in the gas chamber or life in prison without possibility of parole for nine years.Asst.
