Gborge Bradshaw, the colored boy from Terhune, who was convicted of perjury in the circuit court last week, gave the deputy sheriff a race yesterday morning when he was being brought over from the jail to have sentence passed upon him* He ran against a tree near J. M. Bechtell’s house and was caught by Tom Shulse. j After he received his sentence he was lt;taken back by Sheriff Davis and his bailiff, Henry Peters. He made another break for liberty, and was again captured by Shulse, near Jo-senh Davis’, on Cemetery street. 1
